On the 7^th December 2018, as part of a  trip organised by the France-Nigeria Association, to visit companies in the Department of Gironde, Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria  in France, Modupe Enitan Irele, attended a dinner reception at the Château Pape Clément, a very prestigious wine castle in Pessac, in the Bordeaux area, along with Mr Alain Rousset, the President of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Council, Mr. Frédéric Bélot, the President of the France-Nigeria Association and several entrepreneurs and business leaders of the Bordeaux area.

Her Excellency was very pleased to meet with key players of the local economy and had fruitful discussions on various economic and cultural topics. She showed herself very eager to have a similar meeting organised in Nigeria in the upcoming months, involving both French and Nigerian officials and business leaders.
